Service Description

Kids Art Class for Ages 10 and up Dates: Starting Nov 1st until Nov 22nd. Time: Saturdays, 10:30 am - 12 pm Location: Nicole's Art Studio 7 Pond St, Charlottetown PE At Nicole S Art Studio, our art training program is designed for children aged 10 and above, promoting creativity and skill development through a monthly rotation of sketching, acrylic, and watercolor techniques. Our experienced instructors, all professional graduates, guide students to master diverse painting styles while fostering a love for art. Join us to inspire your child's artistic journey and unleash their creativity! We provide some materials: Sketching: We provide: pencils, erasers, kneaded erasers Students bring: sketchbooks Acrylic: We provide: Acrylic paints, brushes, mixing bowls, palettes Students bring: Canvas or watercolour sketchbook (as an alternative to canvas) Watercolour: We provide: Palettes, mixing bowls Students bring: Watercolour paints, watercolour sketchbook, watercolour brushes


Cancellation Policy

Art Class Policy No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the start of the art class. Missed Classes: Unexcused absences will not be reimbursed. However, missed classes can be made up if the absence is communicated at least 2 hours in advance, and a reason for the absence is provided. Serious Illness or Injury: Participants unable to continue due to serious illness or injury will be eligible for a prorated refund for the remaining classes. Release of Liability Agreement

1. Assumption of Risk
Participation in art activities (including but not limited to painting, sketching, clay modeling, and outdoor activities) involves inherent risks. While Nicole's Art Studio staff will take all reasonable safety precautions, accidents or injuries may still occur. Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for any injuries or property damage resulting from their child's participation.

2. Medical Emergencies
In case of medical emergency, parents/guardians authorize Nicole's Art Studio staff to:

  • Provide first aid treatment

  • Seek emergency medical care
    Parents/guardians will be contacted immediately and parents/guardians are responsible for all related medical expenses.

3. Code of Conduct
Participants must:

  • Follow all camp rules and regulations

  • Show respect to instructors, staff and other participants
    Nicole's Art Studio reserves the right to dismiss any participant for serious misconduct without refund.

4. Personal Belongings
Nicole's Art Studio is not responsible for:

  • Lost, stolen or damaged personal items

  • Valuables brought to the premises

5. Media Release
Nicole's Art Studio may use photographs/videos of camp activities for promotional purposes. No personal information will be disclosed. 

6. Food Safety Policy

  • Participants must bring their own nut-free and seafood-free lunches/snacks

  • Due to the high summer temperatures, parents are advised to put ice packs in their child's lunch box

  • Prohibit sharing of food among children to avoid food allergies and poisoning
    Parents/guardians assume full responsibility for any food-related allergies or illnesses.

7. Liability Release
Parents/guardians accept full responsibility for all claims, disputes or issues arising from their child's participation at Nicole's Art Studio.
